Building a new home or upgrading an existing one is an exciting, and at times, stressful experience. At Alders we understand you are investing a huge amount of time, energy and money to make your dream home a reality, which is why our number one goal is not only to create a finished product that you are thrilled with, but to work collaboratively with you to make the entire process enjoyable.
We believe it is imperative that the design process is given the attention it deserves, and as such, we offer a full design service. It is important to note that good design can - and should - be affordable. Housing design with functionality, budget and aesthetics in mind can prevent issues during the construction process and ultimately make the difference between a good home and a great home.
Central to our design considerations is the goal to make each house perform as passively as possible, which from our experience, creates a home that is amazing to live in. This can be as simple as getting the building orientation right, or as complex as house concepts that include the combination of envelope sealing, thermal mass, ventilated heat recovery units and more.
